You may book your flights whenever you wish. Airlines often offer special rates for groups of 10 or more, so if you are traveling with friends or family, you may want to explore that option.

We recommend flying from the US to New Delhi (DEL).

There are several ways to get to Agra, depending on where you're traveling from. Since Agra is closer to the national capital, we recommend that you fly into New Delhi [Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL)]. Agra is around 220 kilometers from New Delhi (~135 miles).

By road: If you are traveling alone or with a small family, you can hire a private cab from New Delhi to Agra. It will take a little more than 3 hours to reach Agra from New Delhi. If you are a group, you can also book a tour bus. Please let us know if you need help booking or validating private cab services in New Delhi.

We do not recommend renting a car and driving yourself, as traffic is hectic and rules are "fluid."

By train: There are several trains from New Delhi to Agra. Most trains take around 2 hours 30 minutes to reach Agra. If you plan to arrive by train in Agra, let us know in advance, and we can arrange for you to be picked up at the station and driven to the hotel.

If this will be your first time in India, we can assist you in booking a train ticket.

Closer to the wedding, we will follow up with guests to gather travel details. Once you arrive in Agra, we will take care of your transportation to the hotel.

The Hotel Grand Imperial has been booked for all guests February 18 - 20. We will be happy to make arrangements for guests arriving a day earlier (February 17).

Guests are not responsible for paying for their accommodation for the duration of the wedding events.
